New Tribes found in the Amazon

LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!
Don't go and study them. Don't go and try to convert them to Christians. I think that we should internationally create a no fly zone over their portions of the Amazon. They obviously are happy where they are and I am sure that Nike Hiking boots would suit them for the hunts. But they have not had contact with outside society and probably do not have drug problems or racial hatred. So just leave them alone.

Check out Cnn.com for the story.

Peace.

Who is to blame? Rockstar Games or the Parent

From Boston.com today
Police: Student pulls knife on teacher
May 29, 2008
FRAMINGHAM, Mass.—Framingham police say a 13-year-old middle school student pulled a knife on his teacher in the classroom and demanded money so he could buy a video game.
more stories like this
The Fuller Middle School student is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a knife and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Police Lt. Paul Shastany says the incident occurred at about 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the end of the period.
He says the male student stayed behind after the other students had left the classroom, pulled the 11-inch knife and asked for $20. After she refused, he lowered his demand to $1.
The teacher took the knife from the student.
Shastany says the boy wanted to buy the video game "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" but his mother refused to give him the money, so he came up with an alternate plan.

So who is to blame here. The parent did the right job with refusing to buy a mature rated game for a 13 year old. But did they fail to inform the 13 year-old of how wrong it is to hold up someone? AND WHERE DID HE GET AN 11" knife who is he Paul Hogan in Crocodile Dundee? RockStar the company that created the Grand Theft Auto franchise will probably take more hits. Of course they only took something that was happening in the real world and made it into a video game.
Be well be safe.

Peace Month is almost over

Why is that? Let's increase the Peace and let a little U.N.I.T.Y. Reign for a little longer.
Another update over at ambercampbellthrows.blogspot.com

So what is on my mind....Kids today. This past weekend I saw first hand the insolence and complete lack of respect that kids today have for adults. You know if I had acted in the manner in which several young boys did, to me this weekend, I would still be looking for my teeth 4 days later. What's with kids thinking that they own something. Unless you have a hit record out or a movie/television show or are the sole inheritor of a vast sum of money you can not possibly own a house at 12. I am pretty sure that after kicking the kids out of a yard that they threw something at me. It was pretty lucky for everyone that I did not see it happen because they would be in the hospital and I would be in jail.

Kids in movies.... Babies and toddlers should not be in any movie that is rated higher than G. I have now 5 free movie tickets that I wish that the parents would have had to pay for because they wanted to see "Iron Man" and "Indiana Jones" so bad they did not want to get a baby sitter. Pre-teens and teenagers need to SHUT UP!!!

That is my rant. Happy Wednesday. I am off to see Duran Duran tonight.
Peace we are all one

I think I created a Monster

A Monster that spits the truth faster than Twista spits ryhmes. When I say this I am refering to my man Fifty Gran RNyce over at Packers Blitz . Droppin Knowledge or his point of view as only an educated Old School Cat can do. Preciate your words. Keep reading.

On to my week. This week we had an update over at ambercampbellthrows.blogspot.com. Amber just returned from a meet at the site of this years Olympic trials. Head over to ambercampbellthrows to see how she did.

I for one had to rearrange my weekend. On of my GOOD friends is getting her Masters Degree this weekend and due to the Gas and an unexpected repair to da Blazer I can not responsibly go. But YOU GO GIRL!!! You did it I am very proud of you.

So the latest of "you reap what you sow" has hit the news again. Perhaps you remember a year ago a promising young surfer was beaten to death in La Jolla California by several young men. Well those young men had no remorse or care that they caused someones death. I am pretty sure that their parents were saying "Not My Kid" well sorry but it was your kid and you do know why. Even if they do not want to admit why it is because you coddled your kid. You and the groups of parents all over this nation gave these kids the attitude of "entitlement". Parents that spent more time expecting the teachers to parent their children rather than doing it themselves. Parents who said there can be no losers in sports and that everyone had to win. You all created these lazy usless kids that don't care if they graduate and get a real job. Because the job will be waiting right there for me when I want it and I will make $100k a year to start.

Wow sorry rambling post. Will be more cohesive later.
Peace
